Our sturdy Low Profile bracket option gives you the look of a floating shelf, but with the support of a thick and sturdy metal bracket. The brackets must be installed into studs.

Our standard shelf routs are designed to center on wall studs spaced that are 16″ apart. Need custom bracket placement for your MTO shelf? Reach out to our team to confirm your layout, then include your measurements in the provided field!

  • The shelves are sold individually. Brackets and mounting hardware are included.
  • Each shelf is 2″ thick (nominal)
  • Our Low Profile Brackets can support up to 50 lbs per bracket, when installed into studs as required. Installation instructions are included.
  • The lead time for Made To Order shelves is 3-4 weeks

Our Made To Order Modern Hardwood Wormy Maple Shelves with Low Profile Brackets are 11″ deep. These floating look shelves create the perfect place for your dishes, dinnerware or small kitchen appliances. Made of stunning new wormy maple wood, these shelves (sold individually) bring in the perfect modern, but natural touch to your kitchen or other space!

How do I measure my stud layout?

  • Follow these simple steps to find the stud layout where you plan to hang your shelves!

1. Cut a piece of painters tape to the length of the shelves you need and put it on the wall where you want the shelves to hang.

2. Take a stud finder and mark the center of each stud on the tape.

3. Facing the tape, measure from the left edge of the tape to each mark.

  • Our standard shelves are designed to mount directly into wall studs spaced 16″ apart, with the shelf centered on the studs.

If your wall doesn’t follow this layout – or if your shelf will not be centered on the studs – custom bracket placement may be required. In that case, please explore our made-to-order listings or contact our team to request a custom build!

Standard shelves are sold in sets of two unless otherwise specified, and ship in 3-5 business days. Standard products are eligible to be returned. Shipping Policy

  • Standard in-stock shelves ship within 3-5 business days
  • Custom and Made to Order shelves and mantels ship in 3-4 weeks from the order date

Orders ship according to the longest lead time among included items. Lead time does no include transit time

Return Policy

  • Standard products:

Our standard, in-stock products are eligible for return within 30-days of purchase with return authorization. Please contact our team to initiate your return.

We gladly accept returns of items in brand new, uninstalled, and unaltered condition. All returns must be received in like-new, resellable condition to qualify for a full refund.

Returns are processed within 2 business days of receiving the product. Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the buyer.

To help ensure safe return transit, we recommend:

– Packaging brackets separately from shelves

– Using sufficient padding and sturdy boxes

– Insuring your shipment, as Urban Legacy cannot be held responsible for any damage incurred during return shipping. Damage claims must be submitted through the shipping carrier directly.

Please note: Shelves received damaged or in unsellable condition may be ineligible for a full refund.

Custom and Made to Order products are not eligible for return or refund.
