Shipping Policy

Thank you for shopping with Legacy Handcraft. Below you will find details about our shipping timelines, carriers, and policies. Please review carefully before placing an order.


Processing & Lead Times

  • Standard Shelves: Ship within 3-5 business days.
  • In-Stock Beds, Custom & Made-to-Order Shelves and Mantels: Ship within 3–4 weeks.
  • Custom Murphy Beds: Ship within 8-10 weeks
  • Cabinet Beds: Ship within 10-12 weeks

All lead times are estimates for when your order will leave our workshop. They are subject to change and do not guarantee a delivery date, as shipping carrier schedules and supply chain factors may vary.


Shipping & Delivery

  • Delivery dates are estimates provided by the shipping carrier and may be affected by factors outside our control (such as carrier delays, weather, or high seasonal volume).
  • Once an order is shipped, you will receive tracking information via email.
  • Risk of loss passes to you once the product is marked as delivered by the carrier to the shipping address provided at checkout.

Freight Deliveries (Murphy Beds & Oversized Furniture)

  • Freight deliveries must be inspected before you sign for or accept the delivery.
  • If you see visible damage to the packaging or the product, please refuse the delivery and contact us immediately.
  • Hidden (concealed) damage must be reported within 3 business days of receipt.
  • If a delivery is accepted with visible damage, any return or reshipping costs are the customer’s responsibility.
  • Items refused or reported within these guidelines will be replaced at no charge. Please note that replacement parts for Made-to-Order products may take 4–6 weeks to ship.

Returns & Cancellations

  • Murphy Beds are not eligible for return under any circumstances.
  • Custom and Made-to-Order items (including shelves and mantels) are not eligible for returns or cancellations.
  • In-stock items (excluding Murphy beds) may be returned within 30 days of purchase, provided they are unused and in original condition.
  • Customers are responsible for return shipping costs.
  • Damaged or defective items must be reported within 7 days of delivery with photos and a description. We will repair, replace, or refund as appropriate.

Additional Notes

  • We currently ship within the United States only (international orders are not available at this time).
  • Legacy Handcraft reserves the right to update this policy at any time.
