Reclaimed Barn Wood Floating Shelves – Set of 2
Ships in 3–5 days | Mounting hardware included
These reclaimed barn wood shelves are handcrafted from authentic, decades-old barn flooring, joists, and rafters offering rustic charm and sturdy functionality. Saw marks, tool marks, nails, nail holes and weathering are just some of the character elements that can be expected on each unique piece! While the faces and edges showcase decades of natural barn weathering , the ends are raw cut and may be lighter in color. At 11″ deep, these shelves are perfectly crafted to hold anything from dishes, to cookware, to decor!
Our standard shelves are designed to mount directly into wall studs spaced 16″ apart, with the shelf centered on the studs.
If your wall doesn’t follow this layout – or if your shelf will not be centered on the studs – custom bracket placement may be required. In that case, please explore our made to order listings or contact our team to request a custom build!
Understanding the Wood Types:
Our reclaimed barn wood shelves come in three distinct styles, each with its own character and thickness:
- Barn Beam – Nominal 3″ thick: Cut from the structural beams of old barns, these shelves are bold, chunky, and full of rugged charm. Ideal for making a strong visual statement.
- Barn Joist – Nominal 2.5″ thick: Sourced from supporting joists, these shelves offer a balance of heft and refinement, with plenty of natural character and a slightly slimmer profile than beams.
- Barn Plank – Nominal 2″ thick: Milled from the barn’s flooring or wall planks, these shelves have a more streamlined profile while still showcasing authentic weathering and rustic details.
