• White Glove Delivery

 White glove delivery is available to most areas for an additional cost. For a white glove delivery quote, please reach out to our team!

• Local Pickup

Free local pick up is available from our showroom in Akron, Pa! This includes boxing your bed and carefully loading it into your vehicle for safe transport.

• In Stock:

Legacy Handcraft offers a 10” medium-firm cooled memory foam mattress designed specifically for our beds.

• Planning to Use Your Own Mattress?

No problem! Just be sure it meets the following:

Thickness: Up to 12 inches

Max Weight: 80 lbs for Queen and smaller | 100 lbs for King

• Each order includes a detailed installation manual and video guide.

Installation can typically be completed by two adults following the provided instructions. And if you run into any issues, our team is always here to help!

• Some customers prefer to hire a local contractor or handyman for peace of mind.

For referrals, we recommend reaching out to your local Chamber of Commerce. Whomever you choose, we strongly suggest working with a licensed and insured professional.

A typical Standard Vertical Queen Bed shipment includes the following components:

• Mattress Box: 18” x 18” x 41”

• Grid Pack: 60” x 8” x 3”

• Bed Crown Piece: 71” x 22” x 6”

• Side Panels: 88” x 19” x 7”

• Front Panels: 82” x 33” x 5” (x2)

• Side Cabinets (if applicable): Size will vary based on selected width

• Total Weight: Typically 300–800 lbs

Most individual pieces weigh under 100 lbs. Side cabinets can weigh up to 150 lb each depending on the configuration. Two people will be required for lifting and carrying all components.

• We offer a Lifetime Residential Warranty on the pistons and piston mechanics

Should they ever fail, please contact immediately and we will ship replacements to you at no charge. This warranty does not cover misuse or any adjustments made to the pistons, piston mechanics or brackets after delivery.

• LED lighting kits have a 1-year limited warranty on parts

If your lights stop working within one year of the date of delivery, we are happy to ship you a replacement kit.

• All other products are sold with our Home Furnishings Guarantee:

Each piece will be as advertised at the time of delivery. All moving parts will work as expected and be without defect. All damages or defects must be reported within 3 business days of receipt.

The grain, color, reclaimed wood markings, holes, cuts, etc, are not considered to be defects, as these things are to be expected in a genuine wood product. As our products are real, solid wood, we do not guarantee against developing issues caused by the environment to which the wood is exposed after it has been delivered. This includes, but is not limited to, cracks, splits and warping, as these are directly caused by the humidity level in the space, and are not considered to be defects in real wood. Our Home Furnishings Guarantee does not include damage or effects from the storage or transport of your items after delivery.

• All freight deliveries must be inspected before the delivery is received

If you see damage to the packaging or the item itself, please refuse delivery and contact us immediately. Once a delivery is accepted, any hidden shipping damage must be reported within 5 business days of receipt. If a delivery is accepted with obvious damage, any return or reshipping costs will be the responsibility of the buyer. Items damaged during shipping and refused or reported within these guidelines will be replaced at no charge. Please note that, while we expedite these replacement parts, there is an expected lead time of 4-6 weeks for Made to Order products. Thank you for your understanding.

Legacy Handcraft is not responsible for property damage or injuries caused by transport, installation or use of the bed or cabinets. Murphy Bed installation and use is perfectly safe when installed using the provided instructions and used for its intended common use.

• Standard products:

Our standard, in-stock products are eligible for return within 30-days of purchase with return authorization. Please contact our team to initiate your return.

We gladly accept returns of items in brand new, uninstalled, and unaltered condition. All returns must be received in like-new, resellable condition to qualify for a full refund.

Returns are processed within 2 business days of receiving the product. Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the buyer.

To help ensure safe return transit, we recommend:

– Packaging brackets separately from shelves

– Using sufficient padding and sturdy boxes

– Insuring your shipment, as Urban Legacy cannot be held responsible for any damage incurred during return shipping. Damage claims must be submitted through the shipping carrier directly.

Please note: Shelves received damaged or in unsellable condition may be ineligible for a full refund.

• Custom and Made To Order products:

Custom and Made to Order products are not eligible for return or refund.

• In Stock:

Shop our collection of in-stock and ready to ship shelves! These items are pre-packaged and cannot be customized. Standard shelves are sold in sets of two unless otherwise specified, and ship in 3-5 business days. Standard products are eligible to be returned. Please see our Returns Policy above for additional important information.

• Made to Order:

Looking for more flexibility? Our made-to-order shelves are crafted to your specifications, with a wider range of sizes and options like bracket layout and quantity. Shelves are sold individually, made to the specifications of your order, and ship in 3-4 weeks.

• Custom:

Looking for something you don’t see listed? Whether you’re interested in corner shelves, alcove builds, or custom table tops, our team can help bring your vision to life. Reach out to our custom team to get started – we’d love to craft something just for you.

• Please contact us immediately if you need to change something or cancel an order.

We are only able to make changes to an order that has not yet been prepared for shipping. If a tracking number has been assigned for your order, we are no longer able to make any changes.

• Follow these simple steps to find the stud layout where you plan to hang your shelves!

1. Cut a piece of painters tape to the length of the shelves you need and put it on the wall where you want the shelves to hang.

2. Take a stud finder and mark the center of each stud on the tape.

3. Facing the tape, measure from the left edge of the tape to each mark.

• Our standard shelves are designed to mount directly into wall studs spaced 16″ apart, with the shelf centered on the studs.

If your wall doesn’t follow this layout – or if your shelf will not be centered on the studs – custom bracket placement may be required. In that case, please explore our made-to-order listings or contact our team to request a custom build!
